Recognizing military families for their strength, courage, motivation, and sacrifice.
The Columbus Lions and Operation Homefront Georgia have teamed up to recognize some of the hardest working folks in the military and the military family. While Service Members are deployed, in the field or on duty, their focus is the task at hand; that leaves everything else to be dealt with by the spouse and family. Whether it’s paying bills, juggling sports schedules, school projects, grocery shopping or dealing with a roof leak, military spouses shine in time of adversity. To show our support and recognize all of their hard work, the Columbus Lions and Operation Homefront Georgia are honoring military families as “Hometown Heroes” at all Lions’ home games. Each family receives four (4) side line tickets, a hotdog, drink and popcorn. The Hometown Heroes and their Service Member will be featured on the jumboton before game time.
