The Columbus Lions have teamed up with the 3rd Brigade 3rd Infantry Division to host the "3rd Brigade Night" on June 13th at the Columbus Civic Center.  The game will cap a series of events which includes a concert series, a blood drive, a press conference, and a jersey auction in which the Lions will be in support of the 3rd Brigade.  This is going to be the biggest event of the Lions season as we head towards the AIFA playoffs.

I would like to ask you for your participation in supporting the troops prior to their deployment this Fall.  We came up with a great package called the "3rd Brigade 100% Club" that will benefit everyone involved.  The package includes:

  • Your name, Company name, or in honor of (soldier name), will appear on a 6' by 8' media banner as a member of the 100% Club.  The banner will be displayed at the press conference, Lion's game, and will be taken with the 3rd Brigade upon their deployment overseas
  • 4 Season Passes to all CSU sporting events
  • 2 Season Passes to all CSU Theatre Department productions
  • 8 Columbus Lions game tickets to the June 13th game
  • 2 passes to the IMAX theatre located in the National Infantry Museum

All I am asking for is a $100.00 contribution to become a member of the 100% Club.  Please fill out the bottom portion of the attached flyer and mail it back to the Lions at 400 4th St, Columbus, GA 31901.

I would also ask you to please send this information to at least two of your contacts so we can make sure this banner has everyone in community on it in support of the 3rd Brigade.

Thanks for your support,

The Columbus Lions are committed to supporting the Chattahoochee Valley community and indoor football fans across the country. With support from the Lions local ownership group, the Lions have adopted an innovative outlook on community responsibility and understand the unique opportunity they have to make a difference off-the-field.

"Our organization's mission is built upon a philosophy of assisting those who don't have the strength, the resources or the means to help themselves," says Lions Part-Owner John Hargrove. "As a sports entity that has enjoyed immediate success and recognition, the Lions feel a very strong obligation to transfer that championship tradition and the magic that it creates toward the bigger purpose of making a difference."

We enlist the talents, skills and resources of their entire staff and players, to provide a cutting edge approach to community outreach. The Columbus Lions are determined to uphold the winning tradition of service through a variety of community initiatives, and look to set the bar in the Columbus community.
