Lady Lion's Announce First Auditions September 25, 2010 for Lion's 2011 Season

Audition Requirements:

·              Must be 18 years of age or older by March 2011

·        Must be a high school graduate by end of May 2011

·        Required attire for tryouts is a half top or bra top of any style and color, black form-fitting pants or shorts, and dance shoes 

·        Must bring a prepared dance routine, 90 seconds or less, with your own music on CD or iPod

·        Must submit a recent non-returnable individual photo (headshot preferred)

·        Must submit a non-returnable dance resume with the 3 following types of references: dance reference or cheerleading, professional work reference, and personal reference

·        Hair and makeup should be sophisticated and glamorous. You are encouraged to bring touchup makeup and hair products.

·        Bring a drink or you may purchase one on-site. You are encouraged to bring a healthy snack

Audition Schedule:

September 25th 2010 Saturday
12pm – Registration
1:30-4:00pm (approx) – Audition
4:00-4:30pm (approx) - Team Meeting
Location – Gold's Gym Max's on Veterans Parkway 

The preliminary round will consist of individual auditions with their own routine. This should be a jazz and or a hip hop choreographed dance. Dancers will audition in front of a panel of judges. Small interviews will be conducted with each dancer before or after all have tried out for the team. Final cuts will be made and dancers who have been announced as making the dance team will be asked to stay for a team meeting.
