re-signing with the Lions is Shattle Fenteng, the former Georgia Bulldog, who brings NAL experience and an SEC pedigree with him to the 2019 roster.  Fenteng unfortunately spent much of the 2018 season battling the injury bug, but when healthy made a massive impact.  The 6'2 defensive back made his money covering in the redzone, where his elite length and speed helped him shut down the league's top receivers.  Fenteng made a huge splash in the NAL playoffs, as he intercepted a Massachusetts Pirates pass in the endzone to give the Lions momentum on the road.  The Lions would go on to win that game and advance to the NAL championship.  The former Bulldog also had a highly publicized prep career, as Fenteng was the #1 ranked junior college cornerback in the nation coming out of Hutchinson Community College (Kansas).  Fenteng is originally from the state of Georgia, by way of Loganville, and will be vital in helping the Lions chase the 2019 NAL championship.
