BREAKING NEWS: AIFA Championship Teams Announced

by Lee Snow

The Columbus Lions are set to face off against the Mississippi Raiders for the AIFA Championship on July 15 at 7 PM at the lions den at Columbus Civic Center. This game will be a highly anticipated rematch from the early season game when the Lions handed the Raiders a massive 63-6 loss.

Despite the early-season defeat, the new and improved Raiders will look to turn the tables with the late-season additions of former Lions, Tommy Neely, and Reggie Lee leading the charge. The Raiders hope to take advantage of their new acquisitions against the high-octane Lions offense, led by the league's top gunslinger, Marcus Brooks, with five different receivers who have scored at least five touchdowns each.

The Raiders' offense will be put to the test against the Columbus Lions' defense, which has dominated every team they have faced throughout the season. The Lions boast one of the most dominating defense in the AIFA league, led by DeAndre Brown, Ken Washington, Droell Greene, and Kyle Griswould, who have only given up more than 20 points on two occasions.

Mississippi Raiders are the defending champions of the AIFA, but the Columbus Lions will be a 3-touchdown favorite going into the battle for league supremacy.

The Lions have consistently dominated everyone they have faced this season and will look to secure another championship title to add to their already impressive resume.

With both teams having something to prove, fans can expect an intense and exciting game as the Columbus Lions face off against the Mississippi Raiders for the AIFA Championship on July 15 at the Columbus Civic Center.
