Columbus Lions 4-0 after 62-20 Victory On Military Night!

On Saturday evening, the Columbus Lions put on a show, crushing the Dallas Falcons with a 62-20 statement win on Military Appreciation Night at the Columbus Civic Center. The team's impressive offensive and defensive play led to an electric atmosphere for the home crowd of over 2000 fans.
 
Quarterback Marcus Brooks opened the game with a perfect 8-for-8 in through 3 quarters, throwing five touchdowns before finishing with 10-for-13 completions, 7 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Brooks' precision allowed Tremell Gooden and Bracken Smith to add to the Lions' score with rushing touchdowns, while Ramond Deloatch, Desmond Reese, and Alex Coleman contributed their own touchdowns through the air. Dameico Ewing also had a receiving touchdown to capture the victory.
 
On the defensive side, the Lions dominated with Dekeon Ware recording a game-high of 11 tackles and Darius Morris with eight. The defense also saw significant contributions with six sacks by DeAndre Brown, Raveon Hoston, Morris, and Andre Revere.
 
After this monumental victory, the Lions will look to continue their success as they host the undefeated instate rival Peach State Cats of the Elite Indoor Football League at the Lions Den on June 16. The Lions will seek to maintain their two-year winning streak against the Cats and continue to showcase their dominance in the league.
