Lions Host Falcons for 2023 Military Appreciation Night

Columbus, GA - Coming off back-to-back wins against reigning champions of the AIFA and EIF, the Columbus Lions in partnership with the Ft. Moore MWR will host the 2023 Military Appreciation Night this Saturday, June 10th, benefiting Tackle22Fishing. Lead by their President and Founder, Eddie Anderson, Tackle22Fishing is a local non-profit helping veterans learn and grow through Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. With over 3500 tickets out for the game, it promises to be the biggest night of the season so far. 

In an interview with WRBL News 3 Sports, Coach Chris McKinney laid out the team's mentality leading into this matchup against the Dallas Falcons. Where the Lions look to continue the dominance over the AIFA competition by preparing for opponents on a game-by-game basis. 

Fans are encouraged to arrive early to escape anticipated long lines and participate in the Vectorply Party Zone tailgating beginning at 5pm with guest food-trucks CR Crickets and The Peanut Plug. Tailgating will be on the east side of the Civic Center under the trees.
