The Lions bring back FB/LB Bradyn Jasper
As the 2021 NAL Signing Period continues the Columbus Lions have made another move, this time bringing Bradyn Jasper, a linebacker and fullback back to Columbus. Jasper was with the Lions for the 2019 season.
Jasper was in the NAL season as a linebacker for the Orlando Predators. He saw action with the Predators in the 2020 NAL season opener against his former team, the Columbus Lions. Bradyn finished the game with five total tackles as well as 0.5 sacks. He suffered an ankle injury during the matchup and was later cut by the Predators in July.
Before his time with Orlando, Jasper served as a linebacker for the Columbus Lions during the 2019. During that season, Jasper appeared in eight games, finishing the season with 10.5 total tackles, two sacks, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery.
Jasper attended the University of Vanderbilt and joined the team as a walk-on, serving as a key member of the scout team during his college career.
In accordance with the NAL Ironman Football rules Jasper will have a role in the Lions offense as fullback along with his duties as linebacker.
The NAL released an official set of rules earlier this month and that article can be found here.
Season tickets are already available for the 2022 season and they can be found here.
